Round 12 - Coba ruins

The first we saw - we thought this was impressive!

How the jungle masked it. They were just recently excavated - would have looked like big mounds of grass/shrubbery before - like Belize





Coba was very different from Tulum. It was right in the jungle so you didn't even realize there were other ruins until you happened upon them. Tulum was the coastal area where they received the shipments. They were then sent to Coba to be distributed.
